During 2020–2021, in our work to raise awareness and engage society in the active conservation of the marine environment, the MATER team created different materials aimed at showcasing the ecological richness of the area, the threat of marine litter, and sustainable habits. On the one hand, the project Plastifisharen Kostera gave us the opportunity to install six information panels across Pasaia, Errenteria, and Oiartzun. On the other hand, within the framework of a collaboration agreement with the Basque Government, we published a Mini Guide to the Coastal Biodiversity of the Ulia-Jaizkibel area.

During the creation of content for both resources, we received support from several people and institutions who helped us verify the information and collect photographic material. In terms of institutions, we would like to thank the participation of AZTI, Ambar Elkartea, SEO BirdLife Euskadi, PIE-UPV/EHU, and the Underwater Activities Section of the Real Sociedad.
Above all, we want to express our gratitude for the altruistic collaboration of many individuals who contributed their grain of sand to bring these wonderful educational materials to light: Juan Carlos Alvarado, Maria Ballesteros, Leire Ballesteros, Aitor Leitza, Natalia Mendez, Javi Franco, Gari Bilbao, Juan Carlos Fajardo, Manu Soto, Belén González, Denis Benito, Fernando Villate, Aitor Laza, Ibon Canciorena, David Muñoz, Daniel Landa, Luis Martínez, Xabi Mina, Borja Inza,
